Data Auditing
We identified missing and/or logically inconsistent entries in a large California agency's traffic stop database and made a actionable recommendations to improve data accuracy for future analyses.
Inaccurate Crime Reporting
Precisely locating the place and time of reported violent crime is key to developing a precision hot spots policing strategy. We identified inaccurate spatial concentrations of reported violent crime at police stations and hospitals so our agency partners could improve and monitor future reporting by officers.
